A very rare and beautifully toned drachm from Ephesos

IONIA. Ephesos. Circa 550-500 BC. Drachm (Silver, 13 mm, 3.20 g). Bee. Rev. Two parallel rectangular incuse punches. CNG 75 (2007), 360. CNG 96 (2014), 429. Karwiese Series IIIa, -. Künker E-Auction 35 (2015), 113. Very rare. A nicely toned and very attractive example of this important early issue. Somewhat rough and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
